Δούσος Φώτης (Dousos Fotis)

Ο Φώτης Δούσος σπούδασε θεατρολογία στο Τμήμα Θεάτρου της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών του Α.Π.Θ. και είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτορας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης στο Τμήμα Φιλολογίας με κύριο αντικείμενο έρευνας τις τεχνικές ανάπτυξης της πλοκής στο νεοελληνικό μυθιστόρημα. Το 2009 ίδρυσε μαζί με συνεργάτες του τη θεατρική ομάδα Hippo που δραστηριοποιείται στον τομέα του εκπαιδευτικού δράματος και στην παραγωγή παραστάσεων για παιδιά και ενήλικες. Από το 2018 παραδίδει μαθήματα δημιουργικής γραφής σε ενήλικες και παιδιά με δεκάδες συμμετέχοντες από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό. Συνεργάζεται με λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά και έχει εκδώσει βιβλία για παιδιά και ενήλικες.

Fotis Dousos was born in Serres in 1980. He studied theater in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he is a PhD candidate of the University of Crete. His main research subject is the development of plot in literary texts. In 2009 he co-founded with Alexandros Raptis Hippo Theatre Group. Until today they have together produced and directed a lot of children’ s shows and created Drama workshops. He has conducted performances and seminars in many places all over the world (New York, London, Berlin, Toronto, Luxembourg, San Francisco etc.). He has also made presentations of his work in Universities (Yale University, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of the Peloponnese). He is a creative writing teacher, producer, director and writer. He has published several books for children and for adults, many of them were nominated for literary awards.
He writes also stage plays and scripts.
