Some Attic vases in the Cyprus Museum was published in 1948, in Volume XXXIII of The proceedings of the British Academy. The revised edition of J. D. Beazley’s text follows the original with some alterations introduced to aid the reader. […] Twenty-five Athenian black-figure, red-figure and white-ground vases in the Cyprus Museum are catalogued. The value of a publication which mentions only a small selection of vases in this museum lies in Beazley’s often lengthy discussions on shape, technique, style, and subject which are as informative now as they were in 1948.
