Catalogue of the exhibition of ancient Cypriote art at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens in 1975.
The works exhibited have come from various regions of the island and illustrate all the characteristic phases of Greek Cypriote art from Prehistoric times to the Christian age. The exhibition also includes some antiquities from the Cypriote Collection of the National Archaeological Museum, acquired through state purchases or private donations. 
Consequently, this Guide is composed of two parts: the first was written by Mr. V. Karageorghis, Director of the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus, and the second was compiled by the archaeological staff of the Museum under the supervision of the Direction of the Museum.
